1.Who we are

Ocre8 Technologies ("Ocre8", "we", "us"), Hanuman Nagar Road, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, creates AI Powered Promotional Reels for shops and businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website or order from us on WhatsApp, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We handle personal data in line with Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. This policy should be read with our Terms & Conditions.

2.Information we collect

Information you give us (mainly on WhatsApp)

• Contact details: your name, WhatsApp/phone number, and email if you share it.
• Business details: shop or business name, address, city, logo, offers, prices and any text you want in the Video.
• Photos and media: photos of your products or shop, and any images or videos you send. These may include people's faces if they are in your photos.
• Payment confirmation: payment screenshot, transaction ID (UTR), amount, date, and the name or UPI ID shown on the payment.
• Messages: your WhatsApp chats with us, feedback and change requests.

Information collected automatically by the website

• Our website has no sign-up or contact forms. Our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and date/time, in server logs for security and performance.
• The website saves your language choice (Hindi or English) in your own browser (see Section 9).

We do not collect your UPI PIN, OTP, card numbers, CVV or bank passwords. Never share these with anyone claiming to be from Ocre8.

3.How we use your information

• To create, edit and deliver your Videos.
• To confirm payments and keep accounting and tax records.
• To talk to you about your order, revisions and delivery on WhatsApp, phone or email.
• To provide customer support and handle complaints.
• To show selected Videos as examples of our work, subject to Section 8.
• To tell you about new offers, but only if you have not asked us to stop. You can reply "STOP" at any time.
• To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms and meet legal requirements.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

4.AI processing of your photos

To make your Video, we upload your photos, business name, logo and text to third-party AI tools and editing software. These may be operated by companies outside India, so your data may be processed on servers in other countries.

• We share only what is needed to make your Video.
• We choose tools carefully, but these services have their own privacy policies and data practices, which we do not control. Some AI providers may keep or use uploaded data under their own terms.
• Please do not send photos with sensitive personal information, such as ID cards, bank details, or private family photos, as part of your order.
• If you do not want your photos processed by AI tools, please do not place an order, as this processing is essential to our service.

5.Who we share your information with

We share personal information only with:

• WhatsApp (Meta Platforms): our main channel for orders, file sharing and delivery.
• AI and editing tool providers: to create your Video (Section 4).
• Banks and payment apps: to receive and confirm your payment.
• Website hosting and email providers: to run our website and email.
• Our team members and freelancers who work on your order and are bound to keep it confidential.
• Government or legal authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights or prevent fraud.

6.Payment information

Payments are made through UPI QR codes or payment links handled by your bank or payment app. Ocre8 does not see or store your full card or bank account details. We keep only payment confirmation details, such as the transaction ID, amount, date and payer name, for our records and tax purposes.

7.How long we keep your information

Copies held by third-party services, such as WhatsApp or AI providers, are kept under their own policies.

8.Portfolio & marketing

As explained in our Terms, we may show your Video and business name on our website and social media as examples of our work, unless you tell us not to before delivery. You can ask us to remove it at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp or emailing enquiry@ocre8.com.

We will never publish your phone number, payment details or private chats.

9.Website, cookies & storage

• Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
• It stores one setting, your language preference, in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it in your browser settings.
• The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering the fonts.
• Clicking a WhatsApp or Instagram link takes you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
• If we add analytics or other tools in the future, we will update this policy.

10.Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting access to team members who need it, using secure, password-protected accounts and devices, and deleting files after our retention period. No method of sending or storing data over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee complete security.

If we become aware of a data breach that affects you, we will inform you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

11.Your rights

Under Indian data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Erase your data when it is no longer needed, except where we must keep it by law (for example, tax records);
• Withdraw consent for any use based on consent, such as portfolio display or promotional messages. This does not affect work already done;
• Raise a grievance with us and, if not resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India;
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.

12.Children

Our services are meant for business owners aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Please do not send photos of children unless you are their parent or legal guardian and agree to their use in an advertisement.

13.Information about other people

If your photos include your staff, family members, customers or anyone else, you confirm that you have their permission to share those photos with us and to use them in your Video.

14.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its "Last updated" date. For important changes, we may also inform existing customers on WhatsApp.
